No matter what your substance you choose to use to get high, the effects are the same is this regard: they make you mentally ill for a brief period of time. Mentally impaired enough so that if you were like that all the time, you'd be institutionalized. Get drunk and stagger around, a danger behind the wheel--can't be that way ALL the time. Weed--forgetful, spaced out, saying Duuuuude a lot, don't want to do much else besides watch tv and eat. People like that full-time are in a home (or still living at home). Shrooms--hullicinations at work aren't a good thing. But think about it. Getting high on anything means being temporarily mentally ill.
weed isnt really all that bad, if you were stoned permanently you wouldn't be institutionalized unless you were really really high.
My half-brother has a pretty bad head injury from when he was 16 (19 years ago). He often reminds me of someone who is high. He laughs at everything, enjoys most everything (music for example), has a terrible short term memory, and is quite slow. I'm sure he does not have the pleasant effects THC brings, however. When he takes too much of his seizure medication he also gets very dizzy and sick. He's a wreck, I feel so terrible that anything could happen to a person. He is still there, though, generally. He is not nearly as mentally handicapped as someone with downsyndrome, but he still has it rough. But anyway, yeah, I see your comparison.
Does your dog have a random freckle? and that thing that is on him, does it have a freckle the same color as the dog freckle? Or is that some kinda mess-up? lol looks hilarious though.
But if you have all that time high, wouldnt you finally get use to and be able to get around it, and operate in the same way as everyone else?
