Yes.... forgetting that there is ice outside I go running to my car, only to slip on black ice, fly up into the air and somehow land hard on my left hip, causing a huge bruise. I other news I love hot lemon water and I'm dying my hair black. So, how are you?
Ewww.... plain butter. My brother used to eat butter plain when he was little. Sick, sick, SICK! Anyways... I do not need a bandaid but maybe some ice or a heating pad. That REALLY hurt. I'm lucky I didnt crash my skull.
With the exception of Louisiana, I can't think of any other place in the country that speaks english with a french accent other than far Northern Maine (The Fort Kent area in particular) Hotwater
Here, in Israel, the majority of children grow up to learning Hebrew and Arabic. I never saw my self using different emphasis in different languages. I will pay attention to it. :-D
I would say that the language Hebrew would be my "dominant" language, as I say this most. But when I speak in English, I think in English. When I speak Hebrew, I think in Hebrew. I think that I do because it helps me to think. Dunno.
I took my younger son out for a leisurely walk last night after dinner. My other two kids were too "busy" and didn't want to go, so they stayed home with daddy. Anyway, at one point, my son slipped on some black ice, landed flat on his little back. I immediately went to help him up, make sure he was okay, and he pushes my hands away and says "no mommy, don't help me, I can do it." I swear, the twins are so much more independent that my oldest son ever was, and still is. It's like night and day. If my oldest son would have fallen, he would have been screaming like a banshee and moaning his head off for at least half an hour. But yeah, there were some big patches of black ice out there when we went last night!
