me and my boys were watching Viva la Bam last night when they were in Mexico and my dumb ass brother said we should go. we got into a big discussion and one of my friends said lets go tomorrow. we all laughed and I said alright, flip a coin, heads we go to Mexico and tails we don't. guess what came up. now we're leaving for TJ tomorrow. we would have left today but, we have work. I've never been to mexico, any suggestions on what we should do/see out there? oh yeah, we also watched South Park and are now planning a road trip to fucking Casa Bonita! thats 17 fucking hours away!

Now... in Mexico... go and visit the ruins, and go to some small villages... latin american village life is lovely, plus they don't get many white skinned people in small villages, so you will have lots of happy kids flocking around you... which is always fun.

Nahh, they will receive you well, might actually be a tad less hostile towards you because you don't look American. Plus, Asians tend to be associated with money in Latin America, lots of rich asian textile sweatshop owners in them countries.

Just be a smart traveler, ya know... don't walk alone at night and all of that good stuff.

But I would honestly suggest checking out the culture instead of going to Cancun or some other mini-America they have there.

Mexico is the only Latin American country I haven't been to, so I can't give you too much direct input... but man... I know too many Mexicans.

Don't talk about homosexuality, religion (unless you love the virgin mary), or American politics.

i'm a pretty ordinary white american girl, i don't have any spanish, i never once had anyone treat me poorly. people act like mexican are savages or something. hell, there are bad people EVERYWHERE, but you don't freak out over going to LA.

Casa Bonita is the shit man, I used to go there all the time when I was a kid. I went back to Denver a few months ago for my Grandpas brithday, and made sure we stopped by there. The food there actually sucks, but the atmosphere is AMAZING. I loved that episode of South Park, because I remember being a kid and running through Black Barts cave, getting my pic taken in the jail, watching the puppet show....everything that Cartmen was getting all excited about. And how cool is it to watch a guy dive off of a waterfall into an indoor pond while you're eating. Real fuckin cool!!!!! They put on live theatere, mariachi bands, and it's like a giant cave all around you.

My boss is sending me and my girls on a three day cruise to Ensenada. Second time he has done this, although the first time was with my coworker.

The girls are looking really forward to it. Only big problem is that my ex is kinda fucking with me regarding getting the proper forms signed so that I can take them.. CAN WE ALL SAY FUCKER!!

he is sooooooo very paranoid, he tells my nine year old, ya, the reason I really dont want to sign it cuz your mom works in a law office and can fanagle my name somehow.

OH BROTHER, i must remind him it was him not me who forged names on documents. Heh, tht cost him 20k.
