Alone? Or Together?

AS STONERS, WE SURELY MUST RECOGNIZE THAT EACH HAS THEIR OWN PREFERENCES WHEN IT COMES TO SMOKING SITUATIONS. THE QUESTION POSED IN THIS THREAD IS, DO YOU PREFER TO SMOKE ALONE, OR WITH OTHERS.

I PERSONALLY PREFER ALONE. I WOULD MUCH RATHER SIT BACK AN RELAX, ENJOY THE BODY BUZZ AND THINK TO MYSELF OR LISTEN TO SOME GREAT TUNES IN DEPTH, THAN TO FEEL PRESSURED TO KEEP THOSE AROUND ME AMUSED OR BE DISTRACTED FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE BY THEIR CHATTER OR ACTIONS. BUT THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL FEELING ON THE SUBJECT, AND I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR YOUR PREFERENCES AND THOUGHTS.

FORGIVE ME IF THIS THREAD ALREADY EXISTS, BUT I FIND THAT THE BEST DISCUSSION COMES WITH A NEW BEGINNING.

 

I personally like to be alone and smoke, but its also fun to smoke with friends. When I'm alone, it's alot more relaxing like you said, and I don't have to be the "adult" and tell my friends not to grab knives or some shit or run around in the street or be quiet.. etc etc.

So I vote alone.

 

I've only smoked alone a few times. It is nice, and you can contemplate more deeply. But I much prefer smoking with my personal group of bud buddies. Its so chill around them that there's no pressure whatsoever: if you happen to be having a trip where you just absorb everything and cant socialize, thats cool. Alot of the time, everybody just sits in a big group, silently experiencing the surroundings. But the social aspect is also fun. I've had many a conversation while high with my friends, where we come uo with the coolest, mind-blowing ideas and theories, pertaining to everything from our consciousness, to spirituality, to hot dogs.

Favorite stoner scenario: with my firends, on a warm noonday in the sun, on a nice green field, listening to music. Thats what I'm gonna be doing this summer everyday!

i smoke alone usually at night and enjoy my high, or i'll smoke with others when i want to be more active and have company. it all depends on what mood im in. and how much bud i have left

 

ive only been smoking since january, and have only smoked with friends. i really enjoy being with people, anytime. sometimes no one really says anything. we just pass it around and listen to music.

im going to smoke alone when i get rid of this ear infection.

I like to smoke alone sometimes, and then there are times when I want to smoke with a lot of people, but only a certain people, ones that are fun, and just talk, not ones that get pissy and moody when they are high.

it depends... usually with others, but if its been a stressfull day or somthin ill just light up asap

 

I don't mind either way, but it's always more fun to smoke with friends, smoking alone is a different high, much more relaxing and I have to really be in the mood to smoke alone, but I'm always down to smoke with friends

 

i like smoking alone because i have a relatively low tolerance, and when i'm alone i never geek out or act dumb....when alone i smoke a lot slower and know when to put the pipe down and leave it alone. i rarely smoke an entire bowl if i'm smoking quality, and rarely smoke two bowls in one session if its lousy. even with mids, i usually only smoke maybe one bowl in the evening, and have a couple beers or something.

if i'm with people it can be a lot of fun, too, but i tend to end up smoking a lot more. i tend to smoke a lot faster when i'm in a group, too, and occasionally get more stoned than i should. then i get too quiet or uncomfortable or i get the giggles and dont smoke anymore when everyone else is up for smoking another bowl, or two, or three.

i dont smoke as much as i used to and not nearly as much as my old smoking buddies do, so i tend to prefer smoking alone most of the time. usually even with other people i just say i've had enough at a certain point, and since i smoke less than them i try to be the first to pack up the bowl so i'm not mooching all the time.

also it often makes me sleepy these days, and if i'm alone i can take a nap or something, whereas if i'm chilling with my friends and i get too stoned i'm likely to just go home.

 

Depends on who I am with. If it's one of my good friends, I would way rather smoke with them, then alone. But if it isn't one of my good friends I'd rather smoke alone. Because a lot of my good friends and I think a lot alike and when we get high we feel a lot alike and it's fun as hell to complete eachothers sentences and just think up the most crazy shit, and to always be agreeing with them because you feel the same way.

 

Either or... I'm practically permastoned, so it really makes no odds to me anymore.
