So ... what's the best thing you own? I don't mean most expensive or flashy or biggest ... what's the one object you treasure above all others?

sorry to hear that too shirley *hug*

im completely materialistic...im a big believer in owning nice things, and by that i dont mean expensive stuff, but colourful, pretty things that make my home a nice place to be, that i look at and think 'ahh'. i own a ridiculous amount of useless but fabulous objects as well as collecting and hoarding. i have a bit of rail track from bescot stadium station that i use as a book stop, i still have the little cardboard packaging that had 2 baileys truffles in that i was given free at euston station last time i was in london and a single rose i was given by a street performer in covent garden the time before that, because they remind me of the good time i had down there. i also love my contact juggling ball.

haha, I saw this thread and thought "I know, I know!! My fave is my guitar!!"

Then I thought I'd see if anyone else had put their guitar forward... and well, it seems like quite a lot of you have.

I'm still gonna say it's my Gibson semi, though...

It's got to be my classic horseman's duster coat.

Because it’s cut very long to do the job, it’s unintentionally very flattering.
    With or without a horse.

Would be a guitar if I had one... but sadly no, so I'll have to say my handful of CD's + portably CD player.
