On one hand I sort of agree with this whole Rebel Confederate thing. The one thing the framers were trying to avoid was a huge federal government, which is what we have today.

On the other hand the hicks who perpetuate the rebel and confederate ideas are some of the stupidest people in our country. Lots of other countries see us as closeminded and stupid because of the mindset of rednecks like whoever posted that racist stuff on the first page. Can't really blame most of those people though, I guess it's not really stupidity as much it is ignorance. It sucks that some people live in such a small world, but whatever, go listen to lynard skynard or some shit and leave every else alone.

BTW I think the media has alot to do with black steriotypes being perpetuated. I come across just as many retarded/ignorant/violent black people as I do retarded/ignorant/violent white people. You shouldn't judge heads by how they dress anyway.

Anyway, yeah those people are stupid for giving young kids pot. Weed is pretty safe, but it can't be good for such young brains. The PC thing to say if they should be taken away and put into foster care, but they would be 10x more likely to "steal your tv" when they grow up if that happened.

 

Pff. I don't care if they're black. I wouldn't care if they were green. I don't care if they're young, or what kind of family they come from, or WHERE they come from. And yes, I get my dog stoned, because he likes it and he knows how to ask oh-so-nicely for it.

But seriously, if my brothers did that when I have kids, I would beat the living daylights out of them, don't care if they're both (my brother and my brother in law) around 6'6 and weigh twice as much as me. I'd still beat the fuck out of them. Fortunately, they're already well aware of that... and they're a wee bit smarter than anybody that would go "Hey, let's get a 2 and 5 year old stoned".

So, yes. I think they should just put the two of them in a jail cell... throw in a couple of angry young moms... that'll learn 'em.

 

Damn my bad I didn't know the details. If the guys who did it weren't in custody of the kids then yeah definately give them some punishment. Jail time sounds harsh, but something should be done.

 

Once you get over the whole "smoking 2 year old" part of the movie, it is really hilarious... They ask the kids if they have munchies!!!

 

Speaking as a daily smoker, cannabis activist, and father of 2, I can honestly tell you that it is blatantly irresponsible and negligent. However NOT because it is cannabis, I would probably be more angry if it were a cigarette. Everyone should know that it is a terrible idea to introduce young undeveloped lungs to smoke, besides that the social development implications of teaching such a young child such an adult practice is devastating to them psychologically.

As far as the race issue goes, I could see white, latino, indian, asian, or any other race doing this just as easily, race has NOTHIHNG to do with it, generations of bad parenting does. To somehow suggest that this is a race issue is blatantly ignorant. RebelGrey, I feel for you, you have some deep seated hatred and I hope you get the help you so desperately need.

 

it's child abuse, plain and simple, and luckily they dont take nicely to child abusers in prison
