Hair test in next 90days(help)

I have smoked 3 times in the last 6 months and within the next 90 days my work will be hairtesting me. Wondering if i have anything to worry about or if there are any percautions i can take to help me. I have heard hair dying and lice shampoo wondering what yall think.

 

there will be traces in your hair unless you bleach the fuck out of it or cut it off

 

who cares, hair tests they mayt testjust the roots which only shows recent smoke, if they rtest itall who cars its 3 times in 6 months..let em test..u cannot be penalized for something so trivial almost a 1/2 year ago...

Yeah, dude, I don't think it would be that big a deal if it was so long ago. This store down teh street from me has special shampoos and shit but I'm not sure if they actually work or not. You could always try one of the shampoos just in case though, if yyou're that worried.

 

The solution is simple: shave your head.
That look is popular these days.
You can't be fired for shaving your head.
Might not be an option you'd choose if you're female tho.
Btw, hair testing can reveal drug use dating back as far as 2 years, if your hairs that long. Coloring your hair won't hide anything any more than putting food coloring in urine would hide a positive.

i´ve always thought that if i had to do a hair test, that i´d just say "no way because i dont cut my hair for religious/spiritual reasons." of course, it´d be more convincing coming from a person with dreads, so i dont know if that would work for you. you dont have dreads, do you?

 

My sister used the hair shampoo stuff you can buy when she was going through a custody battle and it worked for her. I wouldn't worry about it too much though...

 

There was a drugs bust at our school once, they found an ounce of weed, and then threatened everyone with hair tests 'by the end of the month'

Is it a new employer, or have you been there for a while?

If it's a new employer, just tell them that you tried it for the first time, decided that it wasn't for you, and that's that. If you've been there for a while, just... tell them the same, hell, it's only 3 times in 6 months.

As for telling them that you don't cut your hair for religious reasons... that would never work. They pull ONE sample, or a few. Nothing huge. And at a job, they can always say "Well, you don't agree to drug testing... we don't want you as an employee."

And yes, if you just shave your head, there's plenty of other hair that they could take. Fuck, they'll even test eyebrows if they have to. They don't usually test very far back, anyway, so eyebrows would show whether or not you've done it recently.

And, one more thing... having smoked such a small amount, you could just tell them that one of your close friends smokes and you're around them a lot.
