Hey guys! Its my dream to move to California when im older, on my own or with a girlfriend i dont care! Im not sure which part to go to though, i want to live where there is a beach close by, and a mall with all the best shops in it. I just hate England and i cant wait to see the USA. It just looks so awesome! Please reply with recomendations.
With climate change, California is expected to be shrouded by fog pretty much year round. Otherwise, I've heard that Compton is a nice place. What else do you want to know?
Miami? Anyway im not listening to you, you recommended Compton, i dont want to get murdered after my first week there!
With a name like EazyE, they'd treat you like a superstar. Yeah, Miami is a good alternative. Actually, Australia is a nice place. Lots of beautiful beaches and the they let the ladies go topless. Our puritan country prevents such things from happening.
Im not even black. They wouldnt "respect" me for having a dead rappers name as a handle on an online forum lol. I know you were joking anyway but still.
well if he means comptonVILLE, up by north san juan on the san juan ridge north of nevada city off of highway 49 heading up toward downeyville and sierra city, yes that is some pretty nice country up in there. if you want someplace nice head up north here and stay away from sou-cal where they try to make everything begin and end with little green pieces of paper. up in my hills we've still got wild blackberries and miner's lettice. it's true we're getting crowded everywhere. most of the urban centers are surrounded by miles of tickey tackey. but there ARE some mellow places up in the (sierra) hills. =^^= .../\...
Yeah, I meant comptonVILLE. Themnax knows where it's at. There are still tons of hidden gems left in california. That's why the "ticky tacky" doesn't bother me too much. It keeps the masses happy and content. If they didn't have ticky tacky to entertain them, they might swarm the countryside looking for something to do.
IF you are still intrested, i have been in SoCal my whole life. What you need to consider is affordablity as well as location. There is an entire area called the "Inland Empire", that is about an hour from the beach (during the non rush hour traffic), an hour from the snow (Big Bear), 2 hours from San Diego, and as affordable as it gets in SoCal. The major cities are Riverside and San Bernardino. I would highly NOT recommend San Ber, its known as the "hard luck city", but there are alot of area's around them that are safe, affordable, and what you may be looking for. Examples are Redlands, Chino, Chino Hills, Upland (pricy, agreed), or Lake Elsinore. Jobs out here in the IE arent that bad really, if you want to rent, but not for buying. Anyway i can help, email me dave.
istsdave forgot to metion that we in the I.E. have some WICKED heat out here during the summer. It can get in low 100's sometimes for two weeks str8. However I have to second the metioning of Redlands as a possible crash place. It is a certified university town so its way more lib/laid back than some parts of riv or san berdo. Jobs shouldn't be hard to find and lots of places to rent due to the high number of students who live here.
Man we got the same dreams, but am not in England.I want go to Los Angeles i think it is the most magnificent city in the world. But i want to go now and i want to study there.
