I am growing DP Blueberry right now. They were slow as pond water going from germination to veg. I still have them in veg and close to moving them to my flower room. I will keep you informed how flower and harvest turns out.

I grew tahoe blue and one pheno leaned really heavily to dj short's blueberry (he bred the dutch passion blueberry, the two are one in the same).

Really slow vegger just like eddie said, and if you want to get a decent yield you better veg them for a good amount of time. Very little stretch going into flower, and they did alright under LST, I'd imagine topping would work good too. I didn't get mites, but you're right that they do attract them easily. The blueberry is a very light feeder, it doesn't like much food at all, and it hates pH fluctuations so make sure you're pH is in check. It was ready after about 55 days, and it yielded OK. Blueberry isn't known as being the best yielder ever, but if you treat the plants right and choose the right pheno you'll get a good yield. One thing I know about blueberry is that every pheno isn't a winner, but you will get a good mom out of each pack... it's not really a good strain for beginners, but if you can grow blueberry you can grow just about anything.

The smoke was really nice. It wasn't the most potent herb that I've had, but the high was nice. Pretty much all indica, very relaxing and kinda euphoric is how I would describe it. Very good herb for a rainy day watching movies, or chilling in the hammock on a summer day. They smelled very much like berries and very earthy. The taste is the same, very berry-ish and very earthy. I'd give a buddy greens on a bowl, and as soon as they exhaled they would always say "daaaaaamn, that tastes gooooooood!" The only herb I've had that tasted better was sour diesel, besides for that strain not much can touch the blueberry in the taste dept. Maybe sweet tooth... The smoke wasn't harsh or expanding at all, it was smooth as butter going down and coming out...

    Good luck

Ive had a good amount of experence with DP blueberry and never had any that were slow in any way. They always were big yielders and had a very pleasent high and taste.
But the original Blueberry from DJ Short is a better strain

I was also under the impression that dutch passions blueberry (sativa type) and DJ Shorts blueberry (more indica) were different. I never heard of DJ short breeding anything for dutch passion.
From hanging out on grow forums for the last 3 years the general consensus of dutch passions blueberry is that it is shite compared to DJ shorts, and from the many samples i've smoked of dutch passions variety i would agree (although i never smoked DJ shorts). In my opinion is has a nice taste but absolutely NO strength to it and gives you more of a head buzz than a proper stone/high.

    ...just my own observations.
