I seen some weed the other day that was 3 colors. Red, Orange, and Purple/violet. All three of these colors were on the buds. What strein is this called?
Cool, sounds like one term for it. I wonder if there is a special name for it. Just like purple haze, northern lights, etc.....
I know when we smoked it we only killed off half a cigerete sized joint between 2 people and we were both pretty loaded.
Not to bump the thread but i talked to a friend today and found out its called "Christmas Tree" weed.
theres no actual strain called Christmas Tree. ur friend or whoever sold it to him or maybe the grower may have given it that name, but its not the actual name of the strain.
yea i wanted just a general slaying term. Like northern lights is just a salying term for he strein. if that makes any sense. I dont know, im high right now.
Northern lights is an actual strain, I'm not to sure but I think Christmas treee is a clone that gets passed around. Lots of different strains can turn lots of different colors. It depends on alot of stuff (genetics, envoronment you grow it in....)
It really depends on who grew it and how; the colours are not nessecarily a good sign, and could indicate that there were problems during the growing process. One should never accept colour alone as the mark of good gear, nor smell, nor even trichome coverage; these can all be variable according to growroom conditions, and are not always a measure of quality. Either way, without pictures, it's impossible to say. And, no, there is no strain called 'Xmas Tree'; likely a nickname given by the dealer, in order to make peole think it's better than it is and shift more units; a popular trick among dealers. This is why it is important to know your herb! Rip-off merchants are everywhere on the dope scene, and inexperienced smokers are their primary focus.
i understand wat ur sayin, but ive never heard NL used as an umbrella term. ive only heard like dro or chronic as umbrella terms
northern lights = real strain Christmas tree = probably what the growers named it because the plant probably grew to look like a Christmas tree
many growers create their own strains, they can call it what ever they want. whatever they call their strain is as a legitimate name as "northern lights"
Absolutely positive; it's either a home-bred variety, or a made-up name to make it sell better to those less experience smokers.
