    Hey guys,
I've got a trip to vancouver planned for March and I just wanted to find out from some locals whats on and whats happening in yer beautiful city. I'll be there 3 days and 4 nights and I already have plans to go to Lumiere-the fancy dining spot. I need cheap eats, cool bars, an idea of how to find weed, and maybe even some cool peeps to meet up with. So let me know what you think is cool and happenin in the city!

    Thanks alot!

Hey, I'm in Vancouver! For bars go to Granville Street (it's basically just food, bars, and porn stores!), pizza is everywhere on Granville Street and Seymore Street, and pot is pretty much the easiest thing in the world to get! Just don't go up the street asking random people, as lots of folks suggest, because you never know when you'll stumble on an off-duty officer! People are pretty open about smoking weed here, I've seen it being smoked on several streets, but still.
Commercial Drive is loaded with cute boutiques, shops (with kickass funky stuff), and good food. It's sort of an eclectic, funky place...lots of hippies and alts there!

Hostels around town have postings about what movies are playing, what plays/concerts are going on, and other happenings in Van. Enjoy your stay, and PM me if you want to know anything else :)

The Amsterdam Cafe doesn't slang, but you can certainly blaze inside.

Fun bar is the Cambie. Cheap food is all over, but I guarantee you'll hit a lot of dollar pizza.

if you're looking to hear some live music, check out livemusicvancouver.com
it's got a lot of listings
for a beautiful, free place to hang out for a bit downtown, I'd recommed the sun yet sing gardens (my appologies for the spelling, but that's how it's said, or at least close :p). Beautiful plants and chill place.
I hope you have a great trip!
