    I don't think Janis Joplin did the Rose....did she????


    That was a movie that sort of...kind of..but not really portrayed her life. The song was done by Bette Midler... I agree it is a moving song, but I've looked and looked and I can't find a version of Janis singing it and it's not on any of my tapes.. Anyway, its a great song.

    Most moving song for me is Beautiful, written by Linda Perry, sung by Christina Aguillera (sp?). (then it got over played, but it is still beautiful)
