Spontaneous Public Smoke-Outs!

i'll setup one for Mid April in Stanley park in Vancouver, anyone in the area should check it out

 

I can usually find private or low-key places to smoke quietly. I see no reason to be conspicuous.

 

Columbus is a lowest priority city. When a call comes in regarding possession they put it at the bottom of the list. The list is so long that this literally means they will never respond to a possession call. Seeing as up to 100 grams is a $100 fine it's just not worth their time. The penalty for minors may be different, but I wouldn't encourage anyone 18 to partake regardless.

One friend of mine was stopped by the police for underage drinking. They found a sack on him and said something like "we don't want to see this" and threw it in a dumpster. It was later retrieved. Anyways there is already a public smoking holiday in Columbus. It's called Comfest. Last weekend in June at Goodale Park.

That sounds like a well good idea....... it would only make an impact though if there where LOADSA people..... me and the people i hang about with walk about chuffing on a spliff around town and hit the bong down the park anyway. what i think would be wicked if everyone just whipped out a tutor took a hit all at the same time in a busy place like your on about. it would for one be a fucking good sight to see if there where enough people and alot more shoking and interesting then just aloada people lighting a spliff it aint.... as.... obvious is it... thats the word i was looking for.

yea cops in columbus dont care about weed, i live in worthington which is a suburb of columbus and pretty much the only action cops get is busting people for weed or alchohol. so they take any chance they can get. but yea i was at comfest this summer. man was that great. theres a lot of people tokin, even if theres a few cops there they dont do shit. its so great. also theres hempfest which is a little earlier in june. its basically the same thing but the crowd is almost all stoners. at comfest some people bring there kids there not really knowing what it is and they get exposed to a lot of pot. haha
theres nothing better than sitting around smokin, listening to free concerts and just chillin with the sweet people there

but columbus would be an ideal place for one of these spontaneous smoke outs. someday once its warm again i think ill try this. youd have to make sure to invite only chill people, you know thered be at least a few people who try to get into fights or steal stuff and be obnoxious and ruin the whole thing.

there is a sweet place here though. up in old worthington (which is basically our downtown) theres a couple big fields called the greens where most protests are held. theres 4 fields, seperated by a busy 4 way intersection so itd be a perfect place to be seen. if we could get enough people together it could be done, and would defenitely get some publicity.

haha once me and some friends didnt really have a place to finsihing smoking the rest of our stuff so we decided it to smoke it in a bus shack on a busy street

 

lets hit the white house or some place thats full of rich politicians that probly smoke more than we do but will never agmit it.

On 4/20 this past Friday we had about 50 people march through downtown Tucson and through the U of A campus smoking tons of joints, puffing down, chanting about the necessity of legalization and carrying signs and there were no arrests. We saw some cops and they let us pass by even with the dank cloud of smoke that followed us!

yeah 4/20 me and 4 others smoked in the one kids garage. we had 2 blacks and a blunt. then went to school. and was roasted...
and i skipped lunch and such and went smoked another blunt and got chinese. it was great

 

Damn I have been wanting to do this, but my friends refuse and just one person will make almost no impact! Need less chickens in Muskegon.

 

Hah if this happens get ready for some crazy retaliation from the cops like at the war protests in the 60s. They weren't doing anything illegal then either.
Or maybe the cops would be a little frightened.

Either way, media attention like this would show how serious we are about this. If everyone is peaceful, not much can be said about pot being this terrible thing. Unless there are some jerks in the crowd. If there is a riot, then we would be pretty much screwed. Everyone will probably be too mellowed out to fight though.

 

San Francisco has a park that they set a side a day for a smoke out party. But this city just smokes out doors with no trouble downtown with cops if your legal or not they can care less .
