who has played these games? pure art. very little storyline in either but just enough for you to fill in the blanks with your imagination which makes the game more personal. and the scenery, especially in SoC, was mindblowing and beautiful. you can just ride your horse along the massive map and feel like your in that world yourself.

its also just so eerie. almost creepy. since both games, but Soc more than Ico you meet virtually no one else. just you, your horse, a god's voice, and some giant living statues. Ico you have yourself, a girl, a witch, and random black ghost/spirits. you feel completely alone. it just totally amazes me that a game with so little story and so little dialouge can be so powerful.

    anyone else feel the same?

I very much enjoyed this game. It seemed unique to me, a game of pure 'boss fights' - each more like a puzzle than a battle.

I was watching a friend of mine play Shadow of Collosus. It was quite amazing. Breathtaking graphics, for sure.

And I loved the fact that it was all boss fights. You get right to the meat of the game.

Im so sick of people saying these games are "Art" its no more art then any other game, infact I can name alot that are more artistic. As for the actual games, I hated Ico, and I enjoyed Shadow.

Shadow is incredible, one of the most immersive experiences playing a 3D game for me.

Ico I still want to play badly, but have not yet.
