I have searched and found some great info on this board concerning this topic. But, I was wondering if anyone could specifically help me with a couple of questions.
I am in the US, and I want to order some high quality seeds. I will be growing indoors under HPS, using Rockwool in a Flood/Drian sytem.
    So, my questions are:

What is the best, fastest, most reliable seed bank in Canada that I should order from?

What is the most potent, highest yielding strains I should consider? I want to spend around $80, and only do this once- BUT, I would like probably 2 different strains. I want the killer, heavy indica to use in the evenings, but I would also like something more cerebral for daytime use =) Is it wise to get a variety pack? I like variety with my smoke, but I want the BEST.

    TIA!

Hemp Depot ships to the US. I have not used them personally, but I do know they ship to the states.

While I prefer smuggling seeds from the great white north over having them mailed to me, I'm pretty sure they all mail to the states. Two good companys to start with are Ironseed Sales (high end, pricey) and Willy Jack (knockoffs, but they do the trick).

Just in case nobody had noticed - Gypsy's Seedboutique is having a sale on all Nirvana Standard seeds!!! $15. U.S. for 10 beans. Up to four items ships (to the U.S.!!) for only $5. Plus, they throw in freebies!!! That's www.seedboutique.com ; they may not be the most prestigious seeds in the world, but right now I bet they're the cheapest!!!
I just ordered four packs myself - $65. total, you can't beat that price with a stick!!!

What's the best variety? You best do some surfing and see which strains sound best for you, and what's actually available at the seed bank, not merely what is advertised as maybe being available. AK47 for example is widely advertised and always out of stock. What one person likes is crap to someone else.
Using an ebb and flow system leads me to believe you don't have unlimited space and lighting which is going to cause a problem if you attempt 2 different strains at the same time... One strain will come along faster than the other, and be ready to go into flowering before the other. You can't just put the faster plants into suspended animation waiting for the slower bunch to catch up. Also one strain will be taller than the other, crowding the shorter guys out and causing them to give a poor yield even though it isn't the plants' fault. The taller guys will get real leggy on you as they outgrow the understory, so now you have 2 lousy results. I'd obviously go for 2 separate grows, plus if this is your first attempt you're likely to make a minor error or two as you get the fine points down.
