i like animals but......

why does it seem like yall care more about animals dying than humans? theres thousands of people dying every day, im more concerned abotu them than an animal

I care about humans and animals equally. It's just that animals need us to speak for them and help them because they can't do it on their own.

Are not humans animals themselves? I care about all animals, including humans. I value all lives. Just because a person cares deeply about animal rights does not mean that he or she cares any less about the lives of humans. Why do people always assume this?

 

I wish i knew why! Because i'm vegan i get people saying to me that i only care about animals and not humans which is completely untrue!

Yep, well people are animals. And the demise of human AND non-human animals is all related, connected, were destroying them and ourselves together...so i dont really see his, or anyone else who uses this lame questions, point. Caring about other species is helping us, helping them. Use your brain

 

Because feigning "concern" about animals, is a handy way to oppress people, especially at the upper levels of the "environmental," globalist propaganda.

And because, supposedly, so many people supposedly already care about people, even though there aren't near enough people protesting at every abortion clinic, to save the baby humans.

 

Sometimes helping animals survive and helping people survive are the same thing... Think: in Africa a lot of people don't know efficient farming techniques, so when one area can no longer support a farm they move on, burning down forests and whatever when they do, giving local wildlife less land to roam around on. Teaching them current farming techniques and giving them fertilizers allows them to use the same space for a long time, with the added bonus of producing more food to eat. The people are happy, the animals are happy. Everyone wins. A lot of pro-animal stuff revolves around ideas like this. You can look at it as helping people, or helping animals. It doesn't oppress people at all.

 

I most certainly care more about animals dying than humans dying. If suddenly hyenas and kangaroos and horses started to colonize, build factories, impoverish already struggling nations, get rich by immoral means, go to war despite the ability to reason etc. I might start having more sympathy for human kind.

I may be jaded and cynical but I think humanity itself is a virus.

Don't be mistaken though, I love people. All of them. Even the disgusting, evil, soul-sucking kind.
