Marijuana will be legal within 10-15 years

Cannabis is a plant. Cannabis plants produce THC, which is a drug derrrrr.

 

actually, the drug is the THC within the weed. it goes into your system and causes a chemical inbalance, therefor, making it a drug.

 

But you can't have the THC without first having the plant.

 

which is why the plant is considered a drug

I would like to know who the herm that said salvia isn't a drug is.

I am rather familiar with drugs, however, I have never heard of a drug by the name of suger... Could you be more specific?

Drugs are molecules or chemical compounds that alter the chemistry of your brain... your brain needs a certain amount of natural sugar to function which means that it is not a drug, refined sugar on the other hand is a chemical compound that alters your consciousness (ie. sugar rushes) and is a drug. Your cannbinoid receptors are generally not altered by chemicals and when you do change the way they function by binding molecules like delta-9-THC to them then you alter the way in which they work... this gets you high. Cannabis Sativa or Marijuana is considered a drug because the plant contains the same chemical compounds that get you high. Salvia is considered a drug because it contains the chemical compound Salvorian-A which binds to your Kappa-Opiod receptors and alters your consciousness. As far as legalization goes it could happen in 10-15 years but it is going to be a fight and we do need more pot smokers to goto college, goto law school, get published and become politicians... that is what I plan to do.
