I spend most of my free time doing political work like... its the "slacktavists" that we need to get involved in progressive movements
We can't ALL be activits... Activists need slacktivists to sign their pettitions and give them money so they can be activists. That being said, I try to be an activist, but the opportunity seldom raises its head 'round these parts.
Umm... activists also sign petitions and raise money... and mostly off other activists. Stop waiting for someone else to give you the opp. to be active, get out there and set something up

Slacktivists and activists my friend. Activists just do that and morep. I can never get my head round how people don't see change as an immediate priority, given the state Capitalism has the world in these days.
