I am at my wits end !!!

Yes, this is a vent thread.

So, my secretary quit about three weeks ago. No biggie, she was lazy anyways, and never followed directions. So, we have this guy who shares office space with us daughter in here answering phones, etc.

OKAY, that is NOT that hard of a thing to do. You answer the damn phone, ask who is speaking, ask what it is regarding, take the number, confirm the number, date the slip. EASY right??? OH HELL NO!! The numbers have been wrong, never writes down what it is regarding. Half the time, she doesnt even get the name of the client right or the potential client's name right. ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!! OH and lets not forget the messages from last week that I got today.

I have also been having her address envelopes.......OMG!! she says, you mean you want me to put this letter in this envelope???? HOLY SHIT!! I thought I was going to die. I mean really, how hard is it to realize that when you are handed a letter and it is said. Please address an envelope for this letter and mail it out, that DUH, the letter goes with the envelope?? OMFG!! my nine year old could do better.

Its not a wonder that I am not having the best time at work right now. Thankfully, we hired someone who starts tomorrow, who has experience working in a law office and hopefully she will be able to help get things caught up, cuz I am waaaaaay busy with clients and my boss is in the Carribean. I AM GOING CRAZY!

We have finally hired someone. THANK GOD!! Its been a terrible three weeks.

and what is bad, is that I have been so far behind and havent been able to figure out why I havent gotten this OSC or that TRO done.... my bosses daughter figured it out for me. Its because I have been basically babysitting for the last three weeks.

I slightly understood what he was getting at. Every construction worker I've ever met has either been a cokehead, alcoholic, or total pothead or at least was one of those at some point in their life.

 

2k a week is easy, this week I will pull over 6k since im putting the last coat of pollyon this floor and trim job....but I build race motors and buy hemi trucks.....so whatever is right...but the pic you posted says it all......

Used to be my dad's, but he got a new truck. I usually use the other silverado for hauling firewood (I sell firewood on the side) and landscaping, but I drive a VW Jetta otherwise.

My friends dad was a helluva nice guy but he treated his secretaries like shit until they would quit. He did that because he was looking for someone who would put up with all his crap, and after going through 12, he found one.

 

Ya, I have been in that situation where i was treated like shit. Swore to myself that I would NEVER treat anyone like that and as far as I know, I never have.
