What a fabulous book! Fiction, humor, philosophy, satire, tragedy. This book was such a fun read, and fast too! To anyone who hasn't read this book, pick up a copy. I was losing faith in books, grew tired with reading, but I picked this book up yesterday while I was waiting for a phone call, and finished it this morning. This is one of my favorite books now. It's short and simple, but it contains so much insight and things to ponder. Plus the ending left me feeling really satisfied and hopeful. Read some quotes by Voltaire. That should stir you up and prepare you for this good read.

I really liked Candide when I read it some years ago. I love the monkeys chasing the nude girls part. Great satire.
