I've been out of pot for a couple of days, but tonight I was really craving some, and I pulled off one of the most awesome stunts of my pot smoking career... and that is extracting a sick hit of kief from my grinder! I took this metal tool from a personal hygene kit I have... and this metal tool has a very sharp edge. I used it to scrape all of the crap stuck to the wood and the metal spokes of my grinder, and then I dumped it all on a nice white surface and carefully loaded it into my tiny little bowl. It was enough for only a tiny hit, but that hit was so potent that I'm surprisingly high. There's nothing like getting high when you didn't even think you were holding any pot :) So, to all of your stoners out there jonesing for one more hit in the wee hours of the night... I implore you... extract the kief from your grinders!

Yeah, I get really annoyed when my grinder screws up cause of kif...

So I use scissors instead. I just did my first harvest yesterday.

i use a grinder that has the screen in it to collect the trichomes. they´re way better than a regular grinder for obvious reasons.

i´ve found that a toothbrush works best to clean it out. use a new one, of course, and start slowly and move in one direction to sweep out the crystals from the grooves. works well for the screen, too, but i usually just put a button in there and shake it around, which taps the screen clean.

    i love keif hits

i was home alone one night and i was really wantin a hit, so i decided to get the keif out
of my grinder, there was a suprising amount in there, i put some in a rolling paper and loaded my bowl with a tiny bit of green it was fuckin amazing

so i saved the extra bit of keif i had left over and when i went to school the next day
i went out with my buddies at lunch and the one dude loaded a bowl and i was like "i got
a special treat for you guys" and i put the keif on top, we were so fuckin baked it was
    amazing we never got caught

I've heard from a few people that they don't like those because it un-dankifies the herb. I have 2 grinders, but neither have the "pollin collector". I always just like to grind up a bunch of bud (1/8 or 1/4), and then scrape out MAD kief bowls.

I just bought a new grinder with a kief screen, I can't wait to clean that out and get a nice bowl hit of that!
