Hello guys, About 5 years ago I have been able to hear extremely high frequencies. I dont know if its because Im a kid but, when I ask friends who are my age, they say they dont hear anything. Anyways, I can walk into a room where the TV is on but, the cable box isnt on so, its just black and nothing is playing. I can hear a super high pitched frequency that I cant even explain. Ive played games with my mom so where she turns on the TV or turns it off and I have to tell her if its on or off. Everytime I guess it right. I dunno what it is. Ok, another thing I've experianced in the past 2 years, is wierd feelings. At night usually when its silent and Im in bed waiting to fall asleep, I get wierd feelings. Like someone is walking around near my room and stopping infront of my TV. I can sense something is around me. Any idea? Another wierd thing which probley has an idealistic answer is, why cant I trick myself into believing something? Tricking youself into believing you can do something is neccessary in weight lifting to get over new wieght goals. Before I lift, I can feel exactly how much weight I am able to do and how many reps. I feel this is holding me back from my potential. Does anyone have any idea on how to trick yourself into believing something? Thankyou all for reading!
I, too, can usually hear the high frquency from TV's. I don't think that's wierd. It emits sound and you hear it, thats all, some TV's might be louder then others. TV's are kinda scary, they can emit x-rays and other types of radiation, check out what the FDA says - http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/consumer/TVRad.html
dude everyone can hear tv's they make a mad annoying high pitched sound. weird feelings are not weird, but normal.
You might want to look into a phenomena called the Taos Hum, which plagued residence of Taos, New Mexico back in the 1990's It could be most instructive Hotwater
one of the best ways to "trick" yourself into believing something is to visualize it as though it's already happened - you don't change the Now, you move into the future mentally and tap into an alternate reality thread of how the outcome can go i can also hear high pitched frequencies that alot of peeps can't hear - for example, it's hard for me to go near a jewelry counter in a store because the "silent" alarm messes with me
there was this study done, (this is purely anecdotal-i don't know which) where a man was place in a box that was completely sound-proof. he heard two distinct soundsne of a high frequency, and one of a low frequency. the given explanation was that one was the central nervous system, the other something else-don't remember. if you hear it outside of your head while the tv's on, well, it's the tv. if you hear it in the back of your head, when the tv's off, as i often do, it is probably your central nervous system. i've heard both, and they're very similar.
