i went to hot topic today i got 2 bob marley shirts... which means i now have three and will still be known as the bob marley girl and some nag champa [finally!] stoner pwnageee
those are two great shirts, I really like the second one that shows off his locks. BUT Bob marley has nothing to do with drugs. Remember that his message was Love and Rastafari, not just ganja. I feel like his face is some sort of cashed-out icon for 'stoners' because every other picture of him he has a spliff in his hand or he has a halo of weed leaves or something. The majority of people recognize him for his cannabis use and not his true message and it's kind of pathetic. His face has become everything he fought against. Thanks Rita, Thanks Zionrootswear, thanks hot topic... (but the shirts are pretty cool though. I like to see pics of Bob in his tam...)
Buying a Bob Marley shirt from Hot Topic is a very ironic thing to do, especially if you pay attention to any of his lyrics.
