Life is a dream (thought about this while high-did some research too)

In my honest opinion, life is simply a dream. I think this way because nothing IS what u percieve it to be- therefor life IS just as significant as any dream u have- therefor life IS just a dream. Basically- people like u and me are made up of cells, which are made up of atoms, which are made up of positive and negative energy. So all we are is energy. In fact, EVERYTHING is energy. You see a computer, a person etc- but its all energy. So basically- everyone is tripping in life and seeing the same hallucinations. Life as we know it is just a Mass Hallucination. Everyone sees trees and the sky and planes etc. but its really just energy, so EVERYONE is trippin' together and its just one big hallucination. Our brains are SO powerful, that they're able to create such vivid depictions. THink about it though- when ur thinking about an event that happened or will happen, your emotions act as if you are THERE and its happening in reality. Like if u remember a time in which you tripped and got embarassed, you'll feel uncomfortable. But- if you think of a time where you were doin' something amazing, you feel great. When you think like this, life's daily grind and the things we worry about seem so insignificant, yet we continue to stress out and worry. Think about it though, things are not the way they seem- all just energy, so next time u feel urself gettin mad or upset, just laugh and think "DAMNIT, THIS IS MY DREAM- I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!" life is simply a long, STRANGE trip!

 

I've always considered life to be nothing more than illusion or dreamworld, who knows for certain though. Im sure wikipedia has more information on dreams than I do though .

this is kind of along those lines - like that we're made of stars & all that - basically thru chaos, matter became more & more organized, organized to the point that it was self sustaining (dna) and eventually this led awareness of the world, and then in us, that we are aware that we are percieving the world; basically, a human being is an instance of the universe percieving itself.

 

yeah this is actually scientifically proven. i was watchin this show on national geographic channel an they somehow were able to figure out that there is this stuff in the sun that is actually in human beings too.

 

shit.... thats deep? well ive inly ever had a tripping experience once in my life... and it makes me think about the meaning of life all the time. like its not real... like a dream. just like what your saying. gahhh

yea, life is a dream. The Buddha taught that life is dreamlike and there is little difference between life and dreams and I can really realize why. I am a thinker and have thought for years and years and years about the philosophy of life and now I dont think about it so much because I have came to realizations.

ive thought of this kinda thing alot, perception is just our view of other energy based things, and we all know that perception caaan be altered, so whos to say that what we see of this world in our lives.. is really how it is?

this reminds me of this video we watched in physics class called "what the bleep, down the rabbit hole" about quantum mechanics. its prolly the trippiest thing ive heard about. saying how things dont exist until you see it and like most things arent real and crazy shit like that. like it made me think so much i had a splitting headache for the rest of the day.

 

there is also "what the bleep do we know?" which is also about quantum physics and such. I don't know which one came out first, but I have yet to see down the rabbit hole.

 

Life is a dream, when we die and enter the afterlife, that is what it will be like to "exist" for real. If you really think about it and be like..wtf is all this around me? whats a human brain? whats h2o, why cant any living thing live w/o it? Where the hell did oxygen come from? How are there black people, chinese people, white people, hispanic people, etc? how do we live in a world thats so organized with life and the way we reproduce, What made there be a sperm and an egg cell to create a human that will age and devolop, and die? Where did "energy" come from? How was an atom created?

What im trying to say is that were in a dream that we chose to enter, there is an afterlife that will explain everything we will ever want to know, theres a creator that created this crazy world we live in, and once we die, we will finally wake up from the dream and go back the lives we were livin before. With God. Our brains cannot even comprehend who or what God is, but there is someone controlling every function this world has to offer.

Ill compare God to World of Warcraft. Blizzard is God, they created the world of warcraft(earth) and run it and controll the population and everything WoW has to offer. Now what really is our life on earth is really the life we lived before we chose to enter and log into the WoW(our earth) Ans when we hit the highest level we die and go back where we started. Heaven.
