When you go over them make sure you are within the speed limit till you get to the next one. You never know the old bill might be watching you pass them. Basically the police use them to time you between two points to get an average speed. Go over too quick and they would like to have a word. The measuring device they use for this is called VASCAR. Which really is pretty much a glorified stopwatch.

Heres a fun game to play at night if you are bored, its a bit like chicken:

Find a quiet bendy country road with cats eyes then switch off your lights and try and stay on ther road going only by the noise of the cats eyes make on the wheels!

See how long you can go before you have to switch on your lights in a panic
