Dude... all I was saying is why worry about labeling it... just enjoy the hugs, enjoy the company. No need to stress yourself out labeling it, just accept it for what it is and thank the lords above that you have such a good friend. Does labeling it make cuddling better? So, if you must label this person you once dated but now just like to cuddle and hang out with.... sounds like a friend to me, assuming that you know her, like her, and trust her.
I call that kinda relationship a waste of time. Just kidding what I call it is a guy who is grasping at something he can't have.

I think its very good that you don't want to do any of that! It just seems like you want personal intimacy between friends(which is great if you can control it) rather than sexual intimacy between friends(which is also called friends with benefits, which is a total no-go). I'd just call it intimate friendship!
