Resin and Getting Pulled Over

I do a lot of travelling between friends houses and frats and what not. I only take a little bit of weed with me each time I go somewhere, and smoke it all when I'm there. All that I carry home with me then is my bowl. How much resin do they need to get me on marijuana charges? I imagine it varies from place to place, but just curious about the law where all you guys are at. Thanks.

 

Well here in minnesota if you're just caught with a piece, the cops will most likely just make you smash it, but if you're carrying like a baggie of resin then I have no idea.

If you have a piece with you the most they can get you with is paraphenilia charge

 

any amount of resin is against the law because THC is ilegal. Do cops notice it or will bust you with resin on a paper clip? I don't think they care too much.

 

Most cops don't seem to have the intuition or ambition to even consider what you just said...

 

I have a friend who was 17 when a cop took his pipe. He didn't make him smash it or anything, he took it down to the station because he wasn't 18 and said his parents could pick it up.

 

You should carry a bag of pipe tobacco in your car, that's what I do. Just in case, if I get pulled over and somehow my pipe gets discovered, I can show the tobacco, and say that's what it's used for that way they can't say its drug paraphernalia. The tobacco in my glove compartment is like 1 year old and so stale and gross that I can't imagine anyone smoking it, I don't smoke tobacco anyway, it's only in there just in case I should get pulled over.

Which shows me how fucked up society is, I can smoke something that kills 400,000 Americans a year, but weed which has killed no one, can get me put in jail.

 

i may be naive, but i think cops know the difference between the smell of burnt weed in a pipe, and the smell of burnt tobacco lol

 

A cop is either not gonna care about a little bit of resin or he probably won't recognize the smell since the smell is slightly different than the smell of weed.

 

here in pa, many people get arrested for resinated pipes, at least in my area. its a misdemeanor and will get you on probation!!! i can think of at least 4 people Ive met who this has happened to... but thats not saying much, because i know of at least 2 people who had drugs planted on them by the cops, so...

when my car was searched they even confiscated my resinated paper clips for evidence.
