a few weeks back i was at this car competition and u could buy food n drinks n everything. there was probably a thousand ppl there. i was working, selling stuff etc... and at the end of the night i was packing everything up and i turned around to tlook out at the grandstand only to find that the thousand people had vanished and replaced themselves with 4 times as much rubbish. most of the bins were half full..... i was absolutely appalled. what is so wrong with people picking up there rubbish when they leave? why do they have that attitude that they can leave it there because "oh, someone else gets paid to clean that up"? HELLO!!! where do they think that money comes from. OUR taxes.. seriously are they that retarded. its not so hard to pick up the can n put it in teh next bin u pass is it?
spoilt. blind. fools. This is only an indication of the state of the world... Last time I was involved in anything like that, I spent the afternoon cleaning up a large section near where we had been set up. Not so much as a cig butt left when we were done, even put down old hay where the grass was trampled to mud. Know what we got out of it? Nuthin', didn't get invited back. Except it made me feel good. And a few other folks came along and admired the work. Yup, state of the world.
I decided to clean up all the trash along the road where we live. Got sick of lookin' at it when we'd go out for a ride. Don't believe it had EVER been cleaned up before. I laid that trash, touching, end to end along the road side for a couple miles, 'til I just couldn't go any more... Did it in sections. You could lay roadside trash end to end into infinity. I went back with bags, picked it all up. Had it hauled off. Soon as I finished one section and started on another one, some idiot (State Troopers wife) would start throwing out her pop cans again, where I just finished. She saw me there picking up trash everyday for two weeks, knew what I was up to. Bitch.
I do the same thing! I hate it...THeres a ton of construction going on a house away from me.. Such bad NOISE POULUTION! Woke me up this morning.. And there is a ton of trash right along the grass where I walk my dogs every day . So i get sick of it.. Pick up ALL the trash even the smallest of things, and then come out a week later and there it is again more trash. But I do it every week, not just for as my friends say "karama points" but for my momma! Momma isn't always going to be here for us
