Tripping Alone

nah i actually don't have trouble typing when i'm tripping. i just type like 10 times faster. i just end up blowing my own mind when i read what i wrote later

Tripping alone can be fun, but it is kind of nice having someone else to bring you back to reality when you start getting too out there...unless, of course, that's what you're going for. :tongue:

 

I mean, it's certainly possible to have amazing experiences tripping alone, but anyone who goes alone the first time simply does not have enough respect for it. And TheRocker, you clearly have no fucking idea what you're talking about. One day you are going to be HUMBLED my friend. All the research in the world can't prepare you for the fabric of your reality being ripped apart, if you're in the right/wrong (depending on how you look at it) state of mind and are ripe for a major trip.

 

you're probably right man. But as for now, that was a great experience. I don't think i did it completely right. Because nothing too crazy happened. There was just a lot of intraspection goin on. And in all honesty, that was just incredible. I figured a lot of things out, and the greatest thing about the deal was that I think it prepared me a lil for what you're talking about. The next time i do it will be with another guy, and hopefully all goes well. I'd like to see what's gonna happen with the real deal.

So true. I "researched" psychedelics until and even after I was SICK of reading about experiences, interactions with other substances, medical reports, the history of and anything pertaining to the trek. Even after all of that reading I almost had a BEYOND overwhelming and powerful trip a few experiences down the line. I was almost unable to cope with the trip simply because all of my prior experiences were beyond positive/fun/wonderful; not to say the trip I am referring to retrospectively wasn't fun just near scary a fcking hell simply because I was alone and entrancing ego death (which I prevented with all of my will and just barely to ensure my physical safety).

My belief is, however, that there's possibly a small percent of people who could very well never have any issues like this. That's in theory of course and the first trip should NEVER be alone in my opinion.

I personally love to trip alone, there is no better way to get to know yourself. when I trip with other people I get so much feedback from them that sometimes it distracts me from my trip.

In my experiences, trippin alone or with other people depends on who your with...if your dosin' with your best friends and you all like the to do the same type of things while your trippin'(music movies etc) then it's fine....sometimes however there are conflicting interests and you just wanna be alone to do your own thing...

only experienced trippers should trip alone and in the right mindset...by no means should someone dose up alone for their first time

 

Tripping alone is just somethin' else, but when you can get a nice group of up to 5 people, that are ALL chill, naturally reliable, and have an equal sense of intellect, not to mention a quiet, calm atmosphere, you can have a GREAT time, parallel trips and such seeing the same things with like 3 people it's crazy! And extremely fun, especially with babes.

tripping with animals is INCREDIBLE, plants are trippy as fuck too.

tripping alone is rewarding, but nothing beats the energy a group of badass, in-touch, out-there trippers can provide

LoL me and my buddy got chased down like 3 blocks by rabid racoons whilst tripping on 5 grams of mush each, they knew that we were tripping just by the evil look in their eyes.

 

I like both but I'd say overall I prefer to trip with at least one other friend. As usual, the set and setting are paramount. I have had uncomfortable trips before with people I thought I was good friends with. I have also had great trips with people I had met the same day. So it's all about the mindset and the context. Use your honest judgment to assess the situation and then proceed. Since psychedelics are not typically habit-forming, you should be able to reject a bad opportunity and wait for a better one; you'll be glad you did. Just listen to that voice in your head.
Not to beat a dead horse but it can't be stated enough: if you are tripping alone, make sure you are in safe surroundings with minimal unnecessary distractions.

i trip with non trippers and that can be fun. i also trip alone, but if i get bored i just call someone up.. it's actually kinda fun talking to non trippers. they thing your like out in space and they're all like "holy shit dude, do i look like a cow to you?" and i'm just laughing..but it's a blast no matter who i'm with. one type of person i can't stand tho are those anti-acid types. and there are a helluva lot of them. and it annoys me that they're such hypocrites, when they take some ecstasy then tell me acid is dirty. one raver told me i was gonna die by taking e and acid together. fucking etards.
