heaven - odd thought

    So pretend you're young and madly in love, get married, and your spouse eventually dies. You are heartbroken but vow to see her again in heaven and live with her eternally. Then, a few years later, you meet someone else and fall in love again. When you die, which will you meet in heaven? With who's soul will you spend with for eternity? Would you have to choose at all?

    Granted heaven might not be real, souls might not be eternal, but it's something to think about

    Why not meet both in heaven? I couldn't imagine the pettiness of jealousy to exist on such a plane.

    i don't think, within the construct of heaven, that it would matter. likely they'd both be there and happily so.
