I'm new soooo Hello!!! Anywho i had my lip pierced about 2 months ago. And the bump is still there under the hole. I've talked to some friends and they said it shoulda poped by now, so im not sure. Thanks!
Im new too. Ok, What kind of bump is it? Becuase I steralized my needles and did my own piercings and i never had any bumbs..sooo...i dont know what your talking bout...
every body piercing ive ever had has developed a bump on it after a month or two. i hoestly think its just part of my healing process lol. but the thing that really really helped me with that is tea tree essential oil. i really reccomend you try it. you dont want to put it on a fresh piercing for a variety of reasons but since yours is two months old, it shouldnt be a problem. i apply it full strength with a qtip and rotate the jewellery. it might be good idea to dilute it though, it can sting your mouth a little since its so strong.
I had a rather hard feeling bump around mine, and I didn't pay much attention to it. I took about 3 months to heal, so give your's a month, maybe it'll go away.
I didn't get a bump around my lip when I got it pierced, so I don't think I can help in anyway. If it doesnt go away soon though, maybe see a doctor or something
Picture? 'Bump' could mean anything. My feeling is it is probably the jewellery settling in that you are referring to, but I'd need to see it to be sure. Nothing should be 'popping', by the way; not sure what your friends were on about, but it sounds iffy.
