And to the thread started, your buddy was in jail for a reason. Honestly, it's not even worth it to deal unless you're moving full zips or bigger. You sell grams and you make virtually nothing, but if you get caught you get fucked 10 ways to Sunday. Small amounts aren't worth it.

I've seen lots of posts like this. It usually starts when someone buys like 1/2 oz. and a friend asks him to sell him some and they do, for a profit. A light goes off in their head...HEY! I could do this full-time and make a lot of $$. The financial rewards to dealing can be stupendous. But you can get ripped off, beaten up, or end up bent over a bunk in prison getting gang-fucked, or worse. A lot of people apparently don't realize the dangers of dealing dope. As for selling salvia, why would someone buy it from you when they could just as easily buy it at a head shop on order it from High Times or over the internet? What you COULD do without much danger is grow weed out in the woods, and if you harvest more than you can smoke in a year (not too hard), you could sell the excess to YOUR CLOSEST FRIENDS ONLY, and don't tell them you grew it.
