Er, as far as classic psychedelic songs, I'm gonna have to go with "Tomorrow Never Knows." The lyrics, the trippy music, the crows, the chaos...it's all so wonderful.

 

A few of the songs that have been mentioned, plus:

Frank Zappa - Ya Hozna
Most of Kid A by Radiohead is nuts
Pink Floyd - Cirrus Minor
Pretty much anything by Can, especially live, they just played whatever they wanted.
The second half of Low by David Bowie, it's all instumental and very relaxing.

Psychedeliciousness is in the ear of the beholder.

I don't like 'lots of crazy shit going on', personally. For me, a song has to be hypnotic and entrancing to be psychedelic. It's not about weird shit happening in the music for me, weird is just weird and often distracts. SOMETIMES it works, sure, but weird isn't always psychedelic and psychedelic isn't always weird.

 

Gong is diffinatly the trippiest band I've ever heard. Songs like Flute Salad->Oiley Way, Flying Tea Pot, and The Owl adn the Tree made me think I was going insane on acid.
