I have this really cool looking tie dyed wrap skirt that I bought in the fall but haven't worn yet. I can't figure out the proper way to wear it. I mean obviously, you wrap it around, I got that part, but I am always tripping over the front of the skirt. When it's on, part of the skirt keeps slipping below the tie and it looks really strange. Also, is the slit (the end of the fabric) supposed to go in the front or the back? Does it matter?
its sort of hard to help without a pic, and im no expert, but i have a similar skirt and i wear the slit on the side. i dont know how to help you with the fabric slipping tho, perhaps your wrapping it wrong? or maybe not tight enough? if that doesnt help you could perhaps secure it with a small safety pin.
you wear the slit on the back, ladies. It's supposed to free your legs to walk more smoothly, and show a bit of calf. once you've got it on right, that may solve your problems. look carefully at the waistband for a tiny buttonhole. if you find one, thread your tie through there and that will hold the front out of your way.
