A leading expert on Osama Bin Laden has officially gone on the record saying that he believes the so called "9/11 Confession" tape, released shortly after the attacks, is an outright fake that has been used by US intelligence agencies to deflect attention from
“conspiracy theories” about 9/11.

Professor Bruce Lawrence, head of Duke University’s Religious Studies program, joined Kevin Barrett last Friday on his radio show (gcnlive.com, 2/16/2007, first hour) in his first public interview since comments he made last year indicating that he believes Bin Laden may be dead and that many of the newer tapes are either fake or consist of old audio and video.

The "Confession" video, played ad infinitum in the wake of the attack on Afghanistan in December 2001, was magically found in a house in Jalalabad after anti-Taliban forces moved in. It featured a fat Osama laughing and joking about how he'd carried out 9/11. The video was also mistranslated in order to manipulate viewer opinion and featured "Bin Laden" praising two of the hijackers, only he got their names wrong. This Osama also uses the wrong hand to write with and wears gold rings, a practice totally in opposition to the Muslim faith.

Despite the fact that the man in the video looks nothing like Bin Laden, the CIA stood by the video whilst many, including Professor Lawrence now, have declared it an outright fake.

Lawrence is the author of a book entitled Messages to the World: The Statements of Osama Bin Laden, which translates Bin Laden's writing. In January 2006 he told ABC news that a newly released audio tape was missing several key elements and "was like a voice from the grave". The Professor had analyzed more than 20 complete speeches and interviews of the al Qaida leader for his book, and, while the CIA confirmed the voice on the tape as Bin Laden, Lawrence questioned when it was recorded and declared the timing of its release as politically convenient.

Last Friday Lawrence, citing informants in the US intelligence apparatus’s Bin Laden units, told Kevin Barrett that everyone knows the tape is fake, adding that the hoax has been kept alive because it is politically useful to those who wish to bolster the official 9/11 conspiracy that 19 hijackers directed by Bin Laden from a cave carried out the attacks.

We have previously covered the scores of times Osama Bin Laden has been used as a tool of fear and control as a tried and tested method whenever the going gets tough. Many tapes have been determined to be total fakes by voice analysis or simply re-hashes of old material.

Research led us to discover that the most recent "Al Qaeda" video releases featuring Bin Laden had already featured in a docudrama The Road to Guantanamo. The media tentatively even admitted that it was the government that released the tapes.

In a separate revelation, AP reported that an expert on Islamic extremism deemed the Al Qaeda footage as so out of character for al-Qa'ida it could have been taken by a security agency.

Bin Laden was created by US intelligence , worked with US intelligence in the late 70s and 80s, was used as a patsy by US intelligence before and after 911 and is now being used as a manipulative tool of fear by the criminal elite faction currently in power in the US.

In June 2006, Muckraker Report investigative reporter Ed Haas contacted the FBI to ask why 9/11 was not specifically mentioned on Bin Laden's wanted page on the FBI website.

“The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden's most wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11," he was told Rex Tomb.

In Bin Laden's first interview after the 9/11 attacks he denied any involvement. This isn't like a kid caught thieving in a sweet shop - terrorists always claim responsibility for attacks they have perpetrated otherwise why bother killing people to send a political message?

Then came the now thoroughly debunked "Confession Tape".

The fact that the FBI does not consider the 'confession tape' as reliable evidence of involvement in 9/11 was subsequently completely dismissed by the Washington Post and others who still say the tape proves that Al-Qaeda have, "proudly taken responsibility for the hijackings."

 

So Pressed Rat, Alex Jones, Keven Barret, and some other idiot are now convinced the video is fake because if you blow up one grainy frame and ignore the rest of the video, his nose looks different. Too bad Osama doesn't think its a fake, since he hasn't bothered to speak out against it.

Nice try anyway Rat, I'm sure Osama appreciates your efforts. And of course Jones always appreciates his volunteer messenger boys. He makes money while you hide in the basement avoiding the chemtrails. Ka-ching!

 

One grainy frame? Are you saying the so-called "bin Laden" in this video looks any different in any other frame from this video? Are you saying his nose looked that way in only one frame?

Why won't you tackle anything else, such as the fact that the "bin Laden" in the video was using the wrong hand to write with, and was wearing gold rings, which is in direct opposition to the Muslim faith? I suppose that's just coincidence, too?

Of course it is just coincidence to a disinformation artist like yourself, who never has any facts, only tired, rehashed rhetoric that could have just as well come from Karl Rove.

Let's also ignore the fact that the video was INTENTIONALLY MISTRANSLATED!

Anyone who watches that video, who thinks that's bin Laden, really needs to have their eyes checked. It looks nothing like him, and the facial features are entirely different, as is blatantly seen when comparing the nose of the REAL bin Laden to the fake "bin Laden" in the video, which was magically discovered by coalition troops in some house in Jalalabad. (Yeah, I'm sure.)

As far as Osama "speaking out" against it, you can't speak out against something if you're dead, which Osama likely is and has been for quite some time. However, in the weeks following 9/11, bin Laden DID admit in a UMMAT interview that he had nothing to do with 9/11.

The fact that Osama bin Laden had absolutely NOTHING to do with these attacks is a given to most thinking people, who don't allow their opinions to be dictated to them by the nightly news.

 

Perhaps these questions should be decided by a jury, with Bin Laden in the defendant's box.
We don't need to question what happened on 9-11 to see that the crowd in the White House is evil with no respect for either truth or human life.

 

But WE DO need to question what happened on 9/11, because 9/11 is being used as the justification for everything that's happening in the world right now! I am very skeptical of anyone who says we shouldn't question 9/11, which many Left gatekeepers have done.

 

My point is not whether 9-11 should be questioned. My point is that there are enough other lies and incompetence that less emotionaly sensitive examples of Bush's dishonesty should be highlighted.

It much easier to get folks to travel the path from "There were no WMDs and they knew it" to "911 was done by the neo-cons" than to get them to travel it in the other direction.

 

Well there does seem to be a discrepancy in the length of the nose.

For one, if you watch the entire video, you can see he looks pretty much like he does in all the other videos. Of course for those that like getting led like sheep, they take the one grainy frame that conspiracy theorists tell them that looks wrong and immediately nod their heads in unison. Why watch the video? Why think? Alex Jones will tell us what to think. Pass me another beer.

For two, what interview with Ummat? You call it an Ummat interview, because that's what your conspiracy websites told you to say. It wasn't an interview, unless you count sumbitting written questions to the Taliban to supposedly hand over to OBL an "interview".

And when did this happen? Before the bombing of Afghanistan. When OBL and his Taliban hosts had a lot of reason to not to want to admit they were behind 9/11. Once the US attacked Afghanistan, there wasn't much reason to lie about it.

If OBL would never lie, as you claim, why did he contradict himself in the Ummat interview, when he said killing civilians was wrong, when in 1998 he had said any American was a valid target?

Secondly, how do you know his ring is gold? because your conspiracy websites tell you its gold? Please explain. And why does he wear it in other videos, if wearing a ring is wrong? Why would someone whose interpretation of Islam allows flying civilian airliners into office buildings really worry about wearing a ring?

Who said OBL is using his wrong hand? Does anybody really know what his correct hand is? Doesn't the video evidence show his using different hands at different times?

How come all the other people in the video haven't said anything if it was faked?

How come there are so many other OBL and al Queda videos where they take credit for, or don't claim they are being framed for 911? Are all those noses wrong too Rat?

Alex Jones has NOTHING to do with this article (other than it being featured on one of his websites), which is based on what one of the leading experts on bin Laden said IN HIS OWN WORDS. Being the disingenuous lair you are, you will divert any argument in any direction to avoid having to address the facts.
