I just read Skip's post, which reminded me of a high school tradition I once was a part of. I went to a community high school with 100 kids in each grade. Anyways, around the end of the year, there was a tradition called The High. It was incredibly organized. Every year the seniors would pass down the organizational responsibilities to five upcoming seniors. They were in charge of collecting money to buy several ounces of pot and roll joints. Anyways, all the teachers knew this happened because about 80% of the school would skip class to go smoke. Anyways, here's how it would work. The seniors would tell 3 or 4 kids where the meet up spot would be, and the word would spread. it was always within walking distance of the school so everyone could get there. Anyways, selected drivers with large vans would be there. The drivers were then told where the smoke spot was. Everyone (about 300 kids) would pile into the vans and be driven to the smoke spot, usually some very remote locatoin in a field or woods. Once there, hundreds of joints would be passed around freely and it was like a big stoner family. Thought i'd share that.
wow - that´s great. seems somewhat safe, too, by having people meet up with drivers to THEN go to the spot. just as long as the vans arent followed.
thats awsome, I guess it works in a smaller school because everyone knows eachother and you would trust people with money.
Man, that goes right along with the "Spontaneous public smoke-outs" thread, except that this is the opposite of spontaneous. Sounds so fucking cool though. I guess it really tests the mantra "the more the merrier."
You're lucky to live where you do. The coolest thing I ever saw at school was senior year when a buddy of mine, who decided to dose two tabs during lunch. Last period of the day we were in physics and the teacher called him up to the front of the class to do a problem (lmao). First he drew the exponent bigger than the actualy number it went with, then he just started to walk across the board drowing one large squigley line. The crazy thing is the teacher just told him to sit down. This one particular teacher liked the two of us, why I don't know, but he was lucky considering this was a private school and he easily could have been kicked out. Lesson: Kids, please don't take acid at school. Waste of a trip anyway.
that sounds like itd be soo fun, especially since you all went to the same school. ^^ hahaha, yea ive always thought doing acid or shrooms at school is dumb, but thats just fucking funny!
