It warmed up to 10 below so I thought I would take the little ones for a sled ride:

Hey Smelly Socks that third picture was taken off of our front deck by my best friend and wife. You can kind of see the Sun Dog, which is the light from the sun refracting through the frozen moisture in the air, making that vertical stripe.

BraveSirRubin, if you ever make it back to Alaska in the winter I'll show you some sled dogs that are happy and free.

I love the photos of you and your family. Such tenderness and love radiating in them! And your nature shots are breathtaking. Especially the branches heavy with snow. Wow!

Freein: Great looking family. You couldn't pass for anything but an Alaskan, what with the bunnie boots, carharts and the good ol' Dutch Harbor sweatshirt, think I still have a charge account at Alaska Ships. Know I still do at Tran's airport bar...Dennis

Anyone who lives in Alaska is truly blessed. Clean air, beautiful scenery, not a lot of people. It's a place where a person can think. Anyway, beautiful pictures and beautiful family.
