The Blue Tree

hey all

This is a blue-ink pen drawing I did in March or something. The quality is not great, but whatever.

It's very nice... I think that what it makes it special is exactly the blue color, and such a diferent expression for a 'blue' tree, it's gOod

 

Wow, that's really cool. I agree with amarylia, the blue makes it look so sweet, almost unearthly. Nice job.

I like it. It's kind of scary, though, because when I was little I had a book (Berenstein Bears, I believe) that involved going into a dark and scary forest, and the illustrations were blue and the trees had faces. I think it's amazing that a pen and a creative mind can produce something like that.

 

heyyy I read those berenstein bears books too, and I think I remember the one you're talking about. I always thought it was weird that the bear family didn't have names, it was just sister bear and brother bear etc. Anyway glad you liked it.

 

Yes, lol, even their friends at school called them "Sister" and "Brother"... I guess the authors were feeling uncreative or something.

for uncreative authors they sure did well though... I think maybe because parents and first grade teachers loved the messages that they gave. Like don't fight, don't pollute. Makes me wonder why they gave blue trees a scary name
