is it true that there is a fafsa fee this year? i've been postponing it cuz i feel like there shouldnt be a fee...its flippin called the free application for financial aid
nope, it's free. i just renewed mine a few days ago. there's a scam website that tries to charge you. i believe it is fasfa.com or something. just be careful.
Fafsa tends to charge a free, but I think that pretty much every school either pays for it for you or gives you the money back.
I've never had to pay a fee when filling out a FAFSA. Bumble is right about there being a falsa FAFSA site. You should always use http://www.fafsa.ed.gov Completely free. I filled out mine a few days ago and received an e-mail today that it has been processed.
