Noooooooo!

My bowl shattered last night as a result of dropping from my desk. *sniffle* Its the first bowl Ive actually broke.. RIP

 

Whoa. That sucks man. I had a bowl like that with the same colors but different patterns and I only had it for a day before I accidentally shattered it.. I feel for ya..

What I do is every time a piece breaks, I buy two more.

Usually makes everything better.

 

My mini bubbler has been dropped multiple times, and every time in mid-air I said to myself, oh no, that's the end of this pipe. The damn thing just won't die.

i feel your pain. i dropped my first glass bowl on the cement and shattered...and it was the first time i was going to hit it too...my third bowl dropped in the same place from the same hight(about 3.5 feet) and didn't shatter at all. it was like triple blown

 

Damn, that bowl looks almost exactly like a chillum I have. Looks about the same size, and roughly the same color/swirl design. It's a shame about your pipe. Go out, get a new one.

 

I knew what happened as soon as I saw the title. It sucks, but don't dwell on it. I've gotten very pissed when I broke my pieces and it never helped at all. You gotta move forward and just get a sicker pipe.

 

it´s better to break a piece than have it fall into the hands of cops. i´ve lost 2 that way. i´ve never broken a pipe, though.

the one time i broke my pipe i was smoking and taking a shit at the same time( really good combo) and i was really high and just dropped it and it shattered against the tolet and it fell in there with my shit..and glass doesnt flush so i had to get it out *throws up in mouth alittle

 

That's what you get for using glass.

Damn, I've lost many a bowl in my bathroom (old 40s/50s style porcalain and tile). I used to keep my favorite bowl (it was one of those... chromo...dipthograph or whatever... you know the sparkly shit like on bowling balls... hard to fine ones that don't look tacky).

Anyway, I used to keep my favorite bowl in my medicine cabinet, then I was cleaning my ears or something one day and went to reach for other goodnesses in the medicine cabinet, dropped a brass toothbrushholder (thought it was my bowl), the night before. Then the next night, I dropped both the brass toothbrush holder and my bowl.

Unfortunately, the bowl was used... and was about two years old. It had only been scraped once, when it was stolen by someone else (it had been owned by at least four or five people). Anyway, it was this black dude who used to live here and sell yeyo and cause trouble all the time... anyway, I think he was rolling a wu or something and my other friend said he scraped the bowl and gave it to him for free, but he didn't know whose bowl it was, then he ended up trading it to me for a few nugs.

But.. now I have a couple favorite bowls. One of them has this ribbed spiral moutpiece that you can actually clamp on and hold in your mouth as if it were a wooden pipe... haha. I find myself multitasking/cleaning the house and doing it, sometimes. My favorite studio doesn't make them much...

Then I have one that's one of the most popular bowls that a friend that works there referred to me, but the colors have changed to as if it were melting into a red/blue/purple/black spiral... I don't really chill with the girl who works there or anything, but my main connect and I often trade glass or buy glass there at least once every couple of weeks and we know each other pretty well and usually end up chatting it up for at least 30 minutes or so, even if they don't have anything I'm really interested in that week, so I like to drop by whenever I pass the place and just get to know them. For some reason, it's really made me appreciate the difference between a small local artist and the more mass produced glass sold in alot of headshops.

Sometimes friends and I just trade glass and give them back to each other, though...

 

yea.... i had the most awesome swirly pipe that i had my eyes on for weeks. as soon as i got home to light it up i dropped it and it shatters. i was shatterd too.

Haha.. I gotta get off the computer and get my priorities straight. It's interrupting my smoking of this bowl and watching of this mythbusters episode. They're doing an episode on gunslinger myths and myths on butane lighters. Which means I had a laugh when I saw the info on this show.
