Seems like the people that live in communist or ex-communist countries, are very happy with their lives and dont talk much shit about it. Example, ex Yougoslavian people love Tito and communist Yugoslavia. Why do you think that is?

Well of the last 17 years most of these countries have become democracies of course, so it might not have been as well then as it is now. However, the disappearance of Despotic "Communism" of The USSR gave way to many more 'westernised' governments, but those governments, and society as a whole, held on to those aspects of communism that WERE beneficial to them, and so they have what seems like an ideal mix, someone told me something like that. And she could have known because she is from Romania or so.

Yes, that is what I wanted to say I think. :)

Duh. That's because the consequence of dissent in a communist country is usually death.

yea, I agree that death is a consequence, but what about the people from ex-communist countries, some like it. People say they like the fact that the state provides free health care, free school, etc. We live in a democracy but how much freedom do we really have? Health care is too expensive, collage is ridiculously expensive, who knows where our tax money goes, things like this. True that we are entitled to our opinions in a democracy but who da fuck cares or listens to us, nobody. Look at the past presidential elections and all the scandals with that, the popular vote supersede the general vote? wtf. So all Im saying is that even though we are told a democracy is freedom, some would say the exact opposite. We are spied on, every purchase tracked, pushed into debt, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, middle class diapering...

We don't have much freedom at all. People living under a cabal of central banking elitists are never free. The communist countries have even less freedom, and the United States IS moving in the direction towards becoming like a communist nation. Whether it's a fascist dictatorship or a communist dictatorship, they're both the same, as both result in the centralization of power and the enslavement of the people. This is what we see happening in America. We are moving towards the very same totalitarianism we have seen in communist countries throughout the past 90 years of history.

The US is moving in the direction of the former Soviet Union, which is what the New World Order is to be based on. So what you see emerging in this country is actually what you are supporting.... or what you THINK you support.

If you support communism, you would think you would like the direction in which we are headed in this country.

Keep in mind the same central bankers that gave us capitalism, gave us communism as well, as communism is simply a form of monopoly capitalism. The rise of communism was financed by the West to bring nations under their control.

Communism was a sham from the beginning.

The state providing free health care, free school, etc is the norm. All of Europe, Japan, have that. We are the oddballs. We are the only country that thinks its wrong to heal a child unless some CEO profits.

Many people feel more comfortable being controlled within orderly systems--where things are known, expected and there are no or very few surprises to deal with.Assuages their fears of one kind or another.Like religeon relieves the fear of death.Easier not to think for one's self to much.Too scary.
