Pot is to a person's mind as a key is to a door.

The value of pot is that it can open your mind to the possibility that we can percieve the world in different ways. Stoned is one way, sober another way, and there are lots of other ways beyond these two. Recommended reading: The Power of Silence, by Carlos Castaneda--explains how we can see the world in so many different ways. Which way is reality? They all are! How do you want to see the world today?

It just alters your normal every day perception, nothing more and nothing less. You can experience things differently and perhaps learn and gain wisdom from it, but it's not getting you to a clearer, more real or different reality. Except when you see reality as a personal perception of course.

As Jesus once said... "It is the thoughtlife that pollutes."

To me, pot slows down the chatter in the mind, which many seem to have a hard time doing themsevles. Thus, when you have more silence (an emptier space), you tend to feel like you are seeing things more clearly.

Are you? That's only for you to know. ;-)

i absoluetly love pot and the way it makes you think.
i think it does embrace reality.
at least that is how it appears to me, personally.
again, it may depend on the individual.
but i always get in touch with what i call
the "true reality", that i come across with when i'm high.
    it's all personality-based, i guess.
but i agree wih you, so kudos.

Strange cos it did the opposite for me...

It "clouded" everything and made me paranoid....
Also it took away my natural "sparkle", I felt monged out on it....

but yeah we are all different girl for sure!!!

And I have a bit of an agenda with drugs cos of the way I was raised.

I am the child who rebelled against the drug taking father

    lol

it definately can make you a bit paranoid and get you into a depression. but when you are in that situation you only think pot helps you more, because it makes you feel a bit better again

staying off pot for a week or so will help clear your mind and naturally lift your mood. you'll be able to wake up recalling various visuals from your night's sleep and the dreams you had. you'll eat and actually feel FULL.
and then when you have a blast, it'll hit you like a sack of shit.
booyah, use it don't abuse it :p

any regular use of drugs supresses the immune system and if you are prone to depression it will exacerabate that...as well as lowering your resistance to illness....

pot made me depressed thats why I had to stop smoking it......

i agree with yer man's words....dont abuse it....

    wise welsh man indeed.
