    I met John Fogerty a few years ago, but there's really nothing awesome/special about that.

    "Doo, doo, doo, knockin' at my backdoor!". I love that band. I don't know anything special or cool about them, though... short of the fact that my favorite song by them was on the soundtrack to one of my favorite movies: The Big Labowski.

    Creedence Clearwater Revival, 1 of the best bands ever.

    when they started they were known as the gollywogs and had stupid white afro wigs. they had a song out called "fight fire" which is actually pretty good, sounding kind of like an earlier frisco kind of sound.

    I know that they are touring as "Creedence Clearwater Revisited" and Elliott Easton (formerly of the Cars) plays guitar for them. And they sound better than ever.

    CCR is legendary & unique... it's hard to believe that this southern sounding band came from California...

    ThisisMike, have you heard JF's solo releases?

    I'm a big fan of Fogerty's solo as well. The funny thing is that his music is so easy, but it works so well and sounds so good.

    I lover CCR...! Proud Mary is one of my fav songs ever...! as are Suzie Q, Tombstone Shadow, Green River, Heard It Through The Grapevine, Commotion, Bootleg, Travelin' Band, Run Through The Jungle, and many others...! Green River, Bayou Country and Cosmo's Factory are among the greatest albums of all-time...! that's all i have t' say... buh-bye and peace, man...
