I know all about weedihol, but I'm trying to get a knowledgeable person to help me answer a few questions or do the experiments for me. This would be for anyone who is interested in finding out about making light weed drinks that don't contain any alcohol. This is to make a comparitive drink to alcohol that is healthier and not super strong and would work for politcal activism reasons in the future. (simply because comparing drinks is much easier and will increase legalization efforts, because as we know prejudice is about image and you got to play the game) I already know marijuana drinks without alcohol can be made, but they are made in India and there is only one and it is very strong very strong ( called "bhang lassi"). I'm trying to find out how much weed it takes to make a light strength drink that would be socially acceptable in strength and in form of consumption, drinking, and would not contain alcohol, for health reasons. Most importantly I need somebody to create various drinks with different flavours and ingrediants just as is done with alcohol. These drinks do not exist in Inida. There is only really one type there. The experiment: The idea is to use drinks that contain butter or fats such as creams or milks or other things that can absorb THC. Try to make a drink that tastes good and is not going to send you on a trip like a brownie. The idea is to use a little to get a nice buzz with one drink, something stronger than like a %4 beer, but not really strong either. This is important because if we made drinking marijuana popular or created a book of marijuana drinks that tasted good and just used marijuana and were quick to make, unlike weedihol, then we would have a level playing field to compare it to alcohol without the smoking variable, which is what is causing the bad image. If you want weed legal you must recognize that promoting drinking to smoking is the way and that even when weed is made legal it is going to made into drinks anyway, so we might as well help the process. -Thanks, this is going to be interesting new science...
No one thing is going to do it. Adding to the culture in a healthy responsible, socially acceptable way can only help. If books that showed marijuana drinks, like alcohol drinks started to be sold in book stores, it would only make it look that much more similar to the alcohol.
