I have started noticing that during the last couple of years, my body has gone through a process of change. I never went through the blooming stage in puberty, i had always more or less the same. I have noticed my breasts have grown a bit in size, my hips have rounded up, i have a little bit of fat around my stomach, my face has also changed a lot.I've seen recent pictures taken of me and i look sooo different to my late teens. Good thing about this is that i no longer get asked to show my id when getting into clubs... So i'm a late bloomer or what? Have any of you notice this sort of changes was past your puberty years?...or are we meant to change like this? is this growing old? It's like I have this idea that when i picture myself, i'm still 10 years old...hahaha hard to explain though
It's called getting older. Our bodies continue to change. I changed a LOT from my late teens to my late twenties....I didn't start menstruation till I was 16 so I guess I could be considered a late bloomer...Now in my late thirties I am seeing more changes to my body that haven't happened before. It's all about aging, but as long as you age gracefully and take care of your body, that is what matters. And about it being a good thing not being carded, wait till you are my age (37) and you are just PRAYING they will card you at the liquor store!
yeah i'm the same, in the past two years my body has changed. i got quite depressed with it tbh because i was soo super slim throughout my teenage years & round about 21-22 my body started to fill out a little. by boobs got a little bigger, i put a little weight on my belly, but the change i noticed the most was that i put weight on round my hips bum & thighs. i got quite upset about it because there were clothes that i had just bought & a week later they didnt fit, i also thought my legs looked quite fat. my family sort of laughed at me because i'm still quite slim & i kept saying i'm fat. i'm quite happy now, all the older women in my family sat me down & had to explain to me that we all but women especially have a 7 yearly cycle. my body had just changed from being a girl into a woman. my boobs would feel a little fuller & that i have put a little weight on my belly, hips & bum ready for carrying a child. they also said that i may start to feel quite broody because my body is now it tip top condition for carrying a child. its all quite natural & now i feel much better i just hope i dont feel quite as bad when my body changes again. from what most people have said to me womens bodys change all the time all throughout their lives.
When I was 27, my whole body seemed to shift. My breasts went up a cup size, my hips got fuller (I wasn't gaining weight, I was eating sensibly, not eating too much and exercising), and my periods got LOTS heavier (not a pleasant thing...they had been light to moderate before). I just felt different too. I asked someone about it, and they seemed to think it was just a hormonal "getting older" thing...
