How do you feel about blunts?

Over the summer all i smoked was blunts, lots of blunts. at the time on of my friends was selling a pound every couple of days so needless to say there was shit loads of headies floating around and we were rolling fat blunts all the time. Now that that time is past ive realized how wasteful blunts really are,it just isnt economical to smoke them because you get just as high if not higher with a nice piece with so much less. However even though i know they are so wasteful theres just something special to me about siting down and rolling a nice blunt that smokes beautifuly and lasts for a good 20-30 minutes. what are your thoughts on blunts?

who doesn't like a nice blunt? im picky about my blunts for some reason. if they don't look like they are gonna burn good or are rolleyd poorly, i won't smoke them. it's like a pet peeve of mine.

 

I hate spliffed blunts such as swishers, optimos, etc. I think they burn to fast and are a waste of weed. Dutchmasters/Garcia Vegas are much better IMO b/c they burn at least twice as long. The other good thing about two leafed blunts is that every person rolls one differently so that when you have 4 friends who are rolling one up you can pass them all around and its literally like a blunt buffet.


I think everyone should use Dutchmasters/Garcia Vegas. It sucks where i live because theyre hard to find so I found a site that sells them over the internet. l33t

 

Blunts do waste pot, I would never put some headies into one. I have, but I didn't want to. If you were to take the same amount of pot that you put into a blunt and smoke it in a pipe, pipe after pipe, you would be alot higher. I do enjoy a blunt every once in a while but I don't want to smoke them all the time. I have a friend who only smokes blunts and he goes through a ridiculous amount of weed.

 

i hated em till i decided to quite beedies ..then a blunt a day got me off beedies so now i love em but crave em too much & wish i only smoked bowls but i still want blunts too much

 

love a nice wet mango every now and again but nice j's and mt. dew bottle bongs are the big things around here

 

mmm i like blunts at party's but between less than 4 ppl its a waste. i like bowls and joints best but a tasty blunt is nice indeed. soaringeagle, for some reason i cant imagine you being person who smokes blunts. you seem more of a joint person to me

 

i absolutely hate blunts. Whenever I hear about blunts, I always think about shitty weed being smoked by worthless welfare sucking minorities. Now some folks may say that's a horrible image, but unfortunately that is the stereotypiical image stuck in my mind. Don't get me wrong I've smoked my fair share of quality blunts with affluent members of society but I still can't shake that image. I feel they waste weed and I don't really enjoy the taste. Now I know that there is a large number of folks (as seen already) who love blunts, espeically TNS, and to each their own. The only time i really look forward to blunts is when I'm going to smoke one with my pal Mo because it means her and I are on our way to a show.

 

I like a blunt every now and then.

But to be honest, I'd rather just smoke out of a spoon... or gravity bong.

I love gravity bongs. My town has a reputation all around for tokers always having a gravity bong in their living room or bedroom. Haha, it's kinda sad and pathetic... but we love em here and people joke about the place being called G-town. Back when I was younger and we used to smoke in the woods, we always used to say it was G-time.

 

I dont like smoking tobacco, and I think blunts taste like shit. I prefer joints, or bowls, or bongs, or any of a million other methods.

 

Yeah... I mainly just hate tobacco.

Blunts actually are more effecient in terms of THC consumption per mass than a bowl; a cherry burns at lower temperatures than a lighter allowing less THC to be destroyed and more of it to be absorbed. It does, of course, require more bud matter than a bowl, decreasing its effeciency in terms of mass per session. I think a fair compromise is a joint.

Yeah, I really do think I prefer a nice cigarette to a blunt. Plus cigarette papers come 20-30 to a pack and won't go stale.

But I can spiral a greenleaf Game/garcia vega and make it last over an hour. Perfect for road trips with friends.

 

You can cherry a bowl. And a bowl isn't smoking like crazy between hits. Joints are probably the most ineffecient just because of their tendency to burn so quickly. Not at all like a nice honey sport dutch master. Mmm, mmm. Dutchlicious.

 

all ya gotta do is break up your weed sooo good or use a grinder and grind the hell out of it and the bowl will cherry throughout the entire respective bowl pack.
