I just want to know what people think about Bosnia and the Balkan region. Who has been there and who likes it? Anything you want.

I don't really care about them, I'm actually of Italian descent. My advice: Get OUT of the EU's sphere of self-destructive influence!

Well, I'm not sure it's the best question for this (or any other) forum...
People outside the Balkans don't know much about it, or they know stuff they've been told by CNN (not all of that is true, you know...), so I don't think you'll be reading many positive answers to this...
My opinion is that Bosnia people are great and shouldn't be concidered as illiterate barbarians, but, hey, it's just me...

Ballkan is a barrel of gunpowder. this region has seen more wars than any other place in the world. its so delicate AND BEAUTIFUL. its has a lot of history Good and bad.
the wars have ripped this place apart. u can eat shit as much as u whant but i love this place and ill never leave it. i live in Kosova, my father is an albanian born in north albania and my mother is serbian. This is a werid combination.
if hippies like us would be in power none of wars would happen here.

bosnia. never been there but i knew a few bosnians. cool mates. bosnia has a realy good rock and roll especialy the famous band BIJELO DUGME (one of my favourites).

if u non bllkanes came to ballkan dont be surprised cos ull get many versions of what land is whose. but its a hell of a place.

    cheers

yes, Balkans is changing, although l haven't been to any other country that used to be a part of Yugoslavia. but l think that with all the new and young generations of people, animosity beetween the nations is dissapearing. which is really important, cause this animosity brought us to wars in the first place .so young people of today are sick of fights, wars, nationalities etc.etc., they just wanna live their lives normally, so they simply don't care who's who.. so, that's one of the reasons why the Balkans is changing........

THERE'S NO WAY TO PEACE. PEACE IS THE WAY!!!!!
