My 360 stroked out to a 410 six pack nitrous motor will be a reality and in the car within the month and I will be ready for the hot rod mag, street car shootout. I should be close to 600 natural hp with loads of torque ( a 4 inch billet crank) and 300 on spray via the hidden under intake nitrous oxide system. The pics show the race/show six pack from quick fuel tech, the pisons are my strokers and coated with the same stuff on the space shuttle heat tiles. The block has been half hard filled and converted via cnc to a 4 bolt main block that chrysler never made. Im 14k deep into this project but soon it will be a reality, a 900hp street/strip sow quality car.
Im going to sign up for the hot rod mag pump gas drag week this year and there are alot of fast cars and 900-1000 hp isnt too extreme in this class. I run the comp ta drag radials and when set down to 16 pounds they hook like real slicks, my big concern right now is everything shows I can be in the 9 second catagory so I must make sure I can pass tech (for safety reasons). I got pist off tonight and went out and run the current motor hard but it was fun. As for the purple, ive aluminum heads for this new motor as well as a billet al, ele. water pump, so anything thats not chrome, or polished al will be mopar purple. non the less its about a 14,000 motor with almost 3k in coatings, but thats about half if i had a coustom shop build it.
