thats the thing with meditating, dont have a goal in mind while practicing it, else its premeditated meditating (ahuck). youve got to literally empty your mind of everything and be in the here and now and not think about meditating. things like deep breathing helps, but the first time you successfully meditate you probably wont realize you were meditating until after you are finished or get sidetracked and from there youll figure out your own tricks

Ganga is a very Yin teaching plant.
It puts one in touch with the Pranic Astral body.
    It scatters Yang Chi.

When High, your Etheric or Causal body is very open to incomming messages and lower astral beings.
If you are taking a nature walk or are on a vision quest it can be inspiring. When one smokes it should be as a sacred act.

Why smoke and go to a club where you will just magnify sticky sexual energy sensitivity or watch a violent or erotically charged video when you amplify all that was put into making it?

Be very aware of any entities you are opening to.
Be very aware that smoking will increase the rushing obsessive sensation of any samskaras that remain. In this it can be useful for self study and introspection to discover what remains of undigested subconscious material.

If you practice Kundalini yoga here is a quote from Sunyata "Kundalini is no joke. There are those who arouse Kundalini and go crazy. If you practice carefully and sanely, however, you should encounter no serious difficulties. But do not practice any of these methods under the influence of drugs. The effect can be devastating, and may scare you away from practice for life."

I guess it really depends on what you mean when you say Yoga and Meditation.

Ganga is part of the 5 fold sacrament of Tantra when speaking of the Maithyna ritual, however, I would advise doing quite a bit of self introspection and working out of imbedded samskaras related to sexual desire and attachment and the need to not feel lonley when alone before integrating a homepathic dose of ganga into Tantra.

We each dance a different dance when removing the veils covering the Self. When doing anything take a step back and witness ... what is this and how is it unfolding and what is it bringing to the path. There is much truth to play and joy and not taking anything personally. There is much truth to karma and samskaras and honoring the divine, both masculine and feminine, within. We don't truely need anything. How best to digest what is stored? A vision quest should enrich the tribe ... what are you bringing back to waking life from the realm of the Nagas?
