I was wondering....what drug was considered most popular during the 60s and 70s????....and which would u suggest to the teens today?
Then, as now, the most popular was/is alcohol I would STRONGLY suggest teens do NO drugs. Wait, as cliche as it sounds, get as much education as you can. Get to know yourself, by that I mean finish the education and live out on your own, alone, a while. Any drugs that are around now, will be around then. There's no hurry, and nothing wrong with waiting. You're not missing anything, but you could miss out on your only chance to be young and get a good start on the adult phase of life. And you could wind up screwed up, dead, or in jail. Peace, poor_old_dad
I think "drugs" (chemicals), sounds like something nasty, and would avoid them completely. The only mind altering substance I would endorse is cannabis, as I have been smoking the sacred herb for 40 years, and am still alive and enjoying my life. Cannabis should not be considered a drug, it is an herb, nor is it "dope", as it has never been my experience to become a dope while using it. Weed enhances your experience, when used in the right context, while most other "drugs" deplete your body, and can do harm, and OD is possible with extremes. LSD has been given alot of positive attention because it has inspired many of our favoriite hippies and free thinkers, and I experimented with it, and found it had a validity for a few times, then seemed unnecessary as I matured and had a family. If you want to have a nice peaceful insightful experience , stick with Marijuana.
I agree with A.B.E. that pot was wide spread and very popuar but the best trips were on LSD. I grew up outside San Francisco and spent evry weekend at the Filmore Auditorium. outside we could buy anything we wanted but we had no need to bring our own smoke. the contact high was massive and the music unbelieveable.
Sorry guys, but when a 15 year old like "hippie07" says he/she is... And, I'm sorry, A.B.E., Cannabis is a drug and I've smoked enough of it to fill the damned Grand Canyon. And I really think it should be legal. But my experiences & observations very much make me think that experimenting with mind altering is best left to after you've, "gotten your head together", as we use to say. I've seen too many kids screw up their lives & their families and stuff.... been to too many funerals.... I guess mine is going to be an un-popular opinion on this. But it is my honest opinion. And don't get me wrong, I'm not putting down teenagers. There's nothing "wrong" with being young. But there's nothing wrong in being careful to not get in over your head too. Peace, poor_old_dad
I think the worst drugs are television, newspapers, sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and most of the junk food people live off of today to keep themselves numb. I also think some of the worst drugs are coming from pharmaceutical companies who produce them for pennies in third world countries, test them unethically on animals several times over in ways that would bring any normal human being to tears... and then sell them to you for a couple hundred bucks a bottle, and actually give you more sickness and sideffects than before you took them. *** That's a personal opinion though, not medical advice intended to treat or diagnose anything. The best drugs, I will leave to your own research.
if u need any..weed is all u need i would never try ludes..youd be foolish to intentionaly try anything that u can get addicted to & suffer from..
sounds so easy, right? love is the best thing life has to offer, but i think that if one decides to live his life by his heart he has chosen one of the most difficult tasks to be chosen. by the way, i'm not saying it ain't worth it
Mesculine the BEST! Shrooms are for babys! Salvia got the spirit! BUT LSD?? A good FRIEND! too young to have had STP,, maybe for the best. But I do tell young folks to stick to natural, and anyways, I am more about my beloved sister hemp, so helpful in soo many ways! L:H ove and Light to all,,,
